This is what everyone wants to know before starting a project. And we understand.
Below are some guesses at what you can expect. Remember that no two projects are the same, and we can't realistically quote a price until we have an initial discussion.
For projects that are easily definable (ie, developing/designing a website), we tend to bill using a fixed price that is set before the project commences. We find that this puts everybody more at ease and offers greater transparency throughout the whole process.
For larger projects where we serve in a more consultancy role, we tend to bill hourly.
Cost for a new website running on our custom CMS, LoopSites, is typically between $2,000-$5,000, depending on what bells and whistles you're looking for. Sites requiring E-Commerce functionality or integration to other sites/services, may start in the middle of that range, while basic sites would fall at the low end.
All websites built with our custom CMS should ideally be hosted with us. We prefer to host the site so that we can provide continued support more easily. Our hosting plans start at around $25/month for a basic level of support and go up from there depending on how much maintenance or ongoing development you want from us. We want to be there after the site is done to help you continue to improve it.
Special work: We believe every company or organization deserves a website - regardless of their budget. If you are a special-case small business or non-profit with financial constraints, we may have the capacity to work with you on: (1) alternative payment schedules (2) reduced rates (3) pro bono work. It is our policy to have one pro bono client on deck at all times. Contact Us for more information.
For larger projects or engagements where you're just looking for limited help from us (like Business / Systems Analyst or Custom Development work), we tend to bill hourly. Our rates are negotiable and largely depend on the type of work you're looking for us to do.
